On February 28, 2024, Director of the Center for strategic research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Khayriddin Usmon met with UNICEF Regional Advisor Mario Mosquera.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of the Center welcomed the guest and gave brief information about the scientific and analytical activities of the Center. It was noted that the Center for strategic research is an analytical and consulting institution studying the country’s internal and external political processes, regional and global security issues, as well as socio-economic issues.
It was emphasized that the Centre has experience of cooperation with UNICEF in the field of research and is ready for further fruitful cooperation.
In turn, Mario Mosquera expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that he was interested in receiving information about the analytical activities of the Center and about the further planned research program on social issues. It was noted that UNICEF is ready to cooperate in the study of existing problems in the youth environment.
At the same time, in continuation of the meeting, the parties expressed their desire to expand and strengthen cooperation related to the vulnerabilities and dangers faced by youths.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their views on the prospects for joint cooperation related to child welfare issues.
The meeting ended in a spirit of sincerity and mutual understanding.
